The ZIP® 100% Natural Firelighter Cubes are convenient to use, mess and hassle-free. This clean burning 100% natural firelighter will not taint your food. It is our most powerful natural firelighter, long burning, and great for indoor and outdoor fires.
Preparation and usage
INDOOR/OUTDOOR FIRES
Place 2-3 ZIP® firelighters amongst your fuel. For hard light fuels, use more firelighters as required.
Using limited draught, light firelighters. ZIP® recommends using long safety matches. When firelighters are well-lit, carefully add more fuel taking care not to extinguish flames.
When the fire is well-lit, increase the draught.
BARBECUES
Place 2-3 ZIP® firelighters amongst your charcoal or briquettes. For hard-to-light fuels, use more as required.

When the fire is well-lit, increase the draught.
The firelighter must have fully burned away before food is placed on the barbecue.
Barbecue fuel must be covered by a layer of ash (20-30 minutes before cooking).
A chimney is required when barbecuing in an enclosed space. Keep small children away from the barbecue.
